A strange thing happens when Mandy Black touches someone. She sees their worst sins. Why does Mandy have this peculiar ability? Because unbeknownst to Mandy, she is the daughter of a demon named Asmodeus, one of the seven Kings of Hell. And unfortunately, trouble is brewing in Hell. Her father's enemies are coming for her.

Luckily, Mandy has been sent an unlikely guardian. A demon named Scorch, who assumes the form of a watchful canine companion. While Scorch tries to persuade Mandy to reclaim her father's thrown and embrace the fiery echelons of Hell, Mandy's aspirations are more modest: pass her finals, survive prom, and dodge the lethal Nekkran Wraiths hell-bent on her destruction.
